The monumental cemetery of Turin - previously known as the general cemetery - is the largest cemetery in the city of Turin, among the first in Italy for the number of deceased (over 400,000). Located in the Vanchiglietta sub-district (north-east of the city centre), it is located close to the Colletta park, just upstream from the confluence of the Dora Riparia river into the Po.
