Where Buddha unwinds Wat Pho

Wat Pho is a Buddhist temple consisting of a group of buildings located in the Phra Nakhon district in central Bangkok. It is located in the immediate vicinity of the Grand Palace. It is also known as the Temple of the Reclining Buddha, its official name is Wat Phra Chettuphon Wimon Mangkhalaram Ratchaworamahawihan and it is famous, as well as for its majestic beauty, for being the place where the first Thai massage school was born.

Wat Pho is one of the oldest and largest Wats in Bangkok with its 80,000 m², more than 1000 images and statues of Buddha are kept within the complex, and the most famous, the reclining Buddha, is one of the largest existing in Thailand.
