The Central Fire Station is the oldest existing fire station in Singapore, and is located on Hill Street in the museum planning area. On December 18, 1998, the fire station was declared a national monument. Currently the building houses the Civil Heritage Heritage Gallery, the official museum of the Singapore Civil Defense Force.
