The botanical and geological park and the famous Alcantara River Gorges are the main natural and tourist attractions of the Alcantara Valley. The Park- which was founded over 50 years ago to spread the knowledge and enjoyment of the Alcantara Valley and its Gorges- extends over 100 hectares destined to citrus groves, olive groves, pastures and forests and falls within the Alcantara River Regional Park (Established in 2011).
