A few kilometers from pavullo, there is this castle set in a medieval village. The Castle of Montecuccolo, with the adjoining medieval village, stands in the locality of the same name (873 m asl) about 3 km from the center of Pavullo.
Inside the castle there are the artistic collections "The country found" by Gino Covili and "Raffaele Biolchini" graphics and sculptures, and with the Naturalistic Museum of Frignano "Ferruccio Minghelli", the Castle offers itself to the public in a complete and welcoming by offering a cultural and tourist itinerary that combines art, history and discovery of the area. The video dedicated to the artist Raffaele Biolchini on the twentieth anniversary of his death is on permanent view in the multimedia room.
