The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art is located in the Yerba Buena area, at the foot of the Pacific Bell Building, and is the main museum entirely dedicated to modern art in the city of San Francisco. It is known simply as SFMOMA. Currently the museum's collection has more than 26,000 pieces including paintings, sculptures and photographs.
