On the banks of the Conservatory Pond, an artificial lake in the heart of Central Park, you can find the statues dedicated to Alice in Wonderland, by José de Creeft (1959), and to the fairytale writer Hans Christian Andersen, created by G.L. Lober (1956). The giant statue of Alice in Wonderland depicts her sitting on a huge mushroom surrounded by the White Rabbit, the Mad Hatter and a Dormouse.
Here, you can climb on mushrooms, hug Alice, climb the Mad Hatter and take funny pictures. You can't miss these statues during your tour of the green Central Park.
