Augustiner Bräu München is a brewery in Munich, founded in 1328 by Augustinian monks. The beer that is produced there is marketed without resorting to advertising campaigns. In 2003, 900,000 hectoliters were produced. Augustiner is, with Spaten, Paulaner, Hacker-Pschorr, Hofbräu and Löwenbräu, one of the 6 official brewers of the Oktoberfest.
