The Museo Laboratorio della Civiltà Contadina is an ethno-anthropological museum, and is located in the ancient Sassi district. The Museum was created by Donato Cascione and is managed by the homonymous cultural association (ONLUS). The structure consists of a 16th century mezzanine lamione which extends the volume of a network of various pre-existing caves, connected for display purposes. With over 500 m², the museum is the largest of its kind in Southern Italy.
