Il Genovese

Traditional Restaurant Genoa, Italy

Take the opportunity to taste the true Genoese pesto Il Genovese

The restaurant was born in 1912, with the name of "RAGGIO". It was exactly a farinotto, called even more anciently Sciamadda, or a place where porridge was prepared in a wood-burning oven, an oven that is still present inside the room. Over the years, in addition to the take-away function, some tables have been added, leading to the creation of the kitchen in the 1950s.
