The Kornati Islands (Kornati in Croatian) are an Adriatic archipelago, located opposite Dalmatia (Croatia), 15 nautical miles west of Šibenik and 15 south of Zadar. The archipelago takes its name from the largest island: Isola Incoronata. It is the archipelago with the largest number of islands in the entire Mediterranean, in fact it is made up of 147 islands, islets and large rocks.
