The most colorful district of the city Bo-Kaap

Bo-Kaap is a historic district of Cape Town in South Africa, formerly known as the Malay Quarter. A former township, Bo-Kaap is located on the slopes of Signal Hill, the dominant ridge above the city centre, inside the City Bowl. There is also the historic Nurul Islam mosque, built in 1844. Bo-Kaap is traditionally a multicultural area, known for its brightly colored houses and cobbled streets.
