The Hash Marihuana & Hemp Museum, is a museum located in Barcelona dedicated to the culture of cannabis. Ben Dronkers founded the Marihuana Hash & Hemp Museum in Amsterdam and then opened a second replica of the museum in Barcelona on May 9, 2012. The museum tells the story of the plant over the last few centuries, emphasizing that it is the "penicillin of the future" due to its use in the world of medicine.
The permanent collection consists of more than 8,000 hemp-related objects. From cultivation to consumption, ancient rituals to modern medicine, all aspects of cannabis in human culture are represented in one way or another.
