The Barcelona Botanical Garden is located on Barcelona's Montjuïc hill nestled between several stadiums used in the 1992 Summer Olympic Games. The garden is divided into different areas according to the country of origin, within which you will find the typical plants of the Mediterranean maquis.
The gardens are focused on plants and communities from those regions of the world with Mediterranean climates and its divided into areas. Including Australia, Chile, California, South Africa. A specific section is dedicated to the flora of the Canary Islands.
