Bali's Icon Tanah Lot Temple

Tanah Lot Temple (Pura Tanah Lot) is a Hindu temple perched atop a massive rock formation on the southwest coast of the island of Bali. The temple as well as attracting pilgrimages and devotion by Hindus is a popular tourist destination and one of the most photographed places on the island. Tanah Lot means "Land [sic: in] the] sea" in the Balinese language. It is located in Tabanan Regency, about 20 km from Denpasar.
