A well with extraordinary powers Petrifying well

In England there is a well of apparently extraordinary powers; this Yorkshire well petrifies objects that are immersed in its waters. Precisely for this reason the Knaresborough well - this is the name of the city near which it is located - is nicknamed The Petrifying Well. The well is located near the River Nidd. Over time it has become one of England's main tourist attractions.
