The Sydney Opera House (Sydney Opera House, in English) is one of the most significant buildings built in the twentieth century and such as to almost represent an icon not only for the city of Sydney, in which it stands, but also for the Australia itself. The project is by the Danish architect Jørn Utzon, assisted for the structural calculations by the London engineering company Arup.
