The archaeological park is considered the most impressive in Europe. You will find the colossal remains of the Greek colony of Selinunte. The name of the colony comes from a quality of wild parsley which still grows spontaneously.
You will visit altars, shrines and lose yourself in an acropolis destined for gods. At the top of the hill you can see the Doric temples and the valley of the river the special Malaphoros sanctuary, dedicated to Demetra, whose cult was widespread in Sicily.
