Noto is a small gem of the Sicilian baroque. A beautiful village perched on a plateau dominating the Asinaro valley. An important Sicilian, Roman, Byzantine and then Arabian city was destroyed in the fullness of its splendor since the earthquake of 1693, but thanks to the wise reconstruction, Noto has become a magnificent city of art, UNESCO heritage.
Defined as a golden stone garden, Noto hits every visitor for its enchanting and aristocratic atmosphere with warm tones of honey-colored stone. Among its palaces and churches, the San Nicolò Cathedral, the most representative of the Baroque style in Sicily, stands out on all the cathedral. You will be amazed by the elegance and harmony of the church. In fact, its façade has two bell towers on its sides, one of which houses the bell, while the other has a clock.
