Inside the fourteenth-century church of San Domenico you will live the history of the Italian unification. From the Sicilian Revolution up to the Italian Risorgimento started by Garibaldi.
The museum was inaugurated on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the Italian Unification. Here you will learn about the great Garibaldian epic through the red shirts (their typical uniform), letters, weapons, battles. They will tell you the beginning of the the Italian nation. You will see,above all, the cannon dating back to the 1820 revolution and the equestrian statue of Giuseppe Garibaldi.
