The Regional Natural Park of Porto Conte is a protected natural area of the Italian Riviera del Corallo, located in north-west Sardinia north of Alghero. Asinara is an island in the Mediterranean Sea, located between the Sardinian Sea to the west, the Corsican Sea to the north and the homonymous gulf to the east; to the south it is separated from the small Isola Piana by a narrow navigable canal, the so-called Passaggio dei Fornelli. It is part of the municipality of Porto Torres, in the province of Sassari.

The church of the Santissima Trintà di Saccargia is one of the most famous Romanesque-Pisan churches in Sardinia. It was built during the 12th century by the Camaldolese Order and consecrated in 1116, following the donation of Costantino I, Torres's judge. The basilica was part of a large monastic complex of which the remains are visible on the right side of the basilica.

Perhaps in the Roman age it was the mythical Tibula, in the Middle Ages it was certainly for centuries an impregnable fortress, protected by massive walls and 17 towers, until the advent of modern weapons. The original nucleus of Castelsardo was built around the Doria castle, dating back to 1102, according to tradition, but more likely at the end of the XIII century, the current seat of the suggestive museum of Mediterranean intertwining, one of the most visited in Sardinia.

Alghero is a city on the north-west coast of Sardinia, in Italy. Surrounded by ancient walls, it is known for its historic paved center. It is one of the largest and most famous marine cavities in Italy: the Neptune cave is one of the places to visit at least once in your life. It is located inside the park of Porto Conte and you will arrive until its entrance by means of a staircase, the Escala del Cabirol (the Scala of the Roe deer in Catalan): 656 steps that cling to the ridge west of Capo Caccia up to ' mouth. More comfortably you can access it by sea, with boats leaving every day, from the port of Alghero or from the pier of Cala Dragunara to Porto Conte, enjoying the views that offer the cliffs overlooking the sea.
