Fishermans Wharf is one of the most famous neighborhood in San Francisco. It is located in the northern area of the town and its area goes from Ghirardelli Square to Pier 35. The name comes from the italian immigrant fishermen that settled in this pretty neighborhood during the XIX century and it is today one of the most popular destination.
This neighborhood became an important economic center thanks to its rich sea, even nowadays you can find there many excellent restaurants where you can taste what the Pacific has to offer. After a very nice fish eating, you can benefit from the many activities this district has to offer: a cruise, a guided tour, some shopping, taking some pictures with celebrities wax figures and even feeding a shark!.
