Punta Prosciutto (Li Prisuddi in the local dialect) is a seaside resort belonging to the municipality of Porto Cesareo and in the extreme north-west of the province of Lecce. The beach, with a tropical charm, is bordered by secular dunes covered by the typical Salento Mediterranean vegetation, a protected reserve of the Palude del Conte Regional Natural Park. The sea is clear with shallow and sandy bottoms, a real invitation to snorkel!
