The Trocadéro is a monumental, green area, located on the right bank of the Seine. It extends from the Palais de Chaillot to Pont d'Iéna, opposite the Eiffel Tower. The name comes from the Battle of the Trocadero, fought in 1823 between the French and the Spanish armies.
The Trocadero Gardens are famous for the wonderful Warsaw Fountain, formed by a series of small tanks connected to a larger one in the center. You will be surrounded by rows of trees and stone and bronze sculptures. You can have a romantic walk above all in the evening, among the water of fountains that reach even 12 meters.
