For the bicentennial of the French Revolution, France decides to build a new, modern and popular opera theater: the Opéra Bastille.
The Opéra Bastille and the Opéra Garnier are the main theater of the Parisian National Opera, the best in France. Most operas go on stage at Opéra Bastille with some ballet performances and symphonic concerts. The theater was built in a modern style by the architect Carlos Ott. The main hall with an excellent acoustics, is one of the tallest in the world.In fact it can accommodate up to 2745 spectators.
