Monet's masterpieces at the Orangerie museum Musée de l'Orangerie

This palace was built in 1853; previously used as an oranges' glasshouse later became the Orangerie Museum. Inside you can admire the best impressionist paintings including Monet's masterpieces.

In the most famous museum area you can see Monet's masterpiece"Nymphéas". The extraordinary paintings were arranged on the walls of the oval rooms following the artist's instructions. It always attracts the attention of all the visitors. Furthermore in the Orangerie you can see the paintings made by other famous masters such as: Cezanne, Renoir, Picasso, Rousseau and Matisse.
