The Grand Palais des Beaux-Arts is a wonderful exhibition pavilion. It was built for the 1900 Universal Exhibition.
This structure built during "La Belle Époque" host salons and exhibitions of different genres through the history. It was also used for different activities. During the First World War it was used as a barrack and as a military hospital. During the Second World War the Germans used the structure as a deposit for military vehicles. Today, in the "Galeries Nationales du Grand Palais" there are art exhibits in which you can admire the masterpieces of the best artists in the world.
