The church was built between 1532 and 1640.It is considered one of the most famous examples of architecture in Europe. The interiors of the building was restored by the architect Victor Baltard. They are true Gothic artwork, characterized by highly detailed ornaments, from the beautiful facade windows to the gargoyles' statues. In this church you have to see its numerous works of art such as the tomb of Colbert and one of the largest and most important pipe organs in Paris.
