The tallest free-falling waterfall in Europe Vettisfossen

Vettisfossen is one of the highest waterfalls in Norway and the 284th highest in the world. It is located in the Jotunheimen Range within the Utladalen Landscape Protection Area in Årdal Municipality in Sogn og Fjordane County. The waterfall is accessible by an approximately one-hour walking tour from Øvre Årdal up the Utladalen valley.
