Oslo is a city in northern Europe, the capital and largest city of Norway. Oslo is located at the bottom of the Oslofjord, a fjord within the Skagerrak basin. The fjord is almost cut off by the Nesodden peninsula opposite the city to the south; in all other directions Oslo is surrounded by green hills and mountains.
