Green-wood is the name of the monumental graveyard in New York. It is located in the Brooklyn district. It is a majestic graveyard thanks to its Gothic revival style in tune with the green hills that are part of this almost dreamlike place.
After you pass the majestic and gothic archway, you will find several famous monuments, including the statue of DeWitt Clinton and a memorial built by James Brown, to remember the disaster of the SS Arctic. In this memorial you will see a sculpture of the ship, half submerged by the waves. You can see also the memorial to remember the American Civil War, the firts of all the subsequent independent revolts.
