The High Line is a 1,5 mile park built upon an old elevated railroad track, the West Side Lane, now abandoned. This route starts from Gansevoort street to Meatpacking District, crossing Chelsea area, ending at the 34th street in West Village, near Javtis Convention Center. Definitely an unconventional promenade worth wandering; the High Line will give you a different perspective of the city.
