Gokyo Ri

Gokyo is a small village of a few stone houses and one of the highest settlements in the world. In fact, here, with a height of 5357 meters, is the Gokyo Ri glacier, reputed not only as the largest glacier in Nepal, but in the whole Himalaya. Four 8,000-meter peaks can be seen from Gokyo Ri: Mount Everest, Lhotse, Makalu and Cho Oyu.
