Stazione di Milano Centrale

Station Milan, Italy

The train station of Stazione di Milano Centrale

The Milano Centrale station is the main railway station of the Lombard capital, the second in Italy for passenger flows after Rome Termini and before Turin Porta Nuova, as well as one of the main railway stations in Europe. It was inaugurated in 1931 to replace the old central station that stood in the current Piazza della Repubblica, which has become insufficient due to the increase in railway traffic.
