The ruins of an old church, a fountain, plants and creepers: these are the ingredients that make St Dunstan-In-the-East a small oasis of peace in the heart of the City. The perfect place to take pictures as well as a break from tourist tours and busy city.
The XIII century medieval church, damaged by the Great Fire of 1666 and immediately rebuilt, was again partially destroyed by a bombing during World War II. In the 1960s it was decided not to rebuild it and to leave the ruins as background for a public garden.
