The Praça do Comércio (English: Commerce Square) is located in the city of Lisbon, near the Tagus River. The square is still commonly known as Terreiro do Paço (Palace Square), as the Ribeira Royal Palace stood here until it was destroyed by the great Lisbon earthquake of 1755. La Praca is one of the largest squares in Europe and offers an extraordinary view of the Tagus.
